Arky Waters dives into UK garage with new single ‘Roadkilla’

Australian producer Arky Waters has unleashed his latest single, ‘Roadkilla,’ a high-energy track exploring the world of UK Garage.
The release, the third single leading up to his forthcoming EP, follows the success of previous tracks ‘We Ain’t Like Dem‘ and ‘Blessings.’ ‘Roadkilla’ is a dynamic dive into the UK Garage scene, influenced by Waters’ growing interest in the culture of dubplates and limited-run releases. With its punchy beats and rhythmic complexity, the track showcases Waters’ take on the genre while maintaining his signature dance and techno sound.
Reflecting on his inspiration, Arky Waters said:
“Super fun track I made when I first started getting into UKG—a lot of my friends were getting me on to records from labels like ec2a and Time Is Now. Loved the idea of these ‘dubplates’ and how they would release limited runs of tracks on usbs that would sell out super quick. I’m very much dipping my toes into this culture and wanted to express my own take on it.”
With ‘Roadkilla,’ Arky Waters continues to prove his versatility as a producer, pushing boundaries and experimenting with new genres. The track is available now on all streaming platforms via Mammal Sounds Records.
