Anna Calvi releases her new single ‘God’s Lonely Man,’ an electrifying collaboration with Iggy Pop taken from her forthcoming EP Is This All There Is? The release marks Calvi’s first new original music since late last year and arrives alongside an official video starring both artists.
Driven by furious guitars and galvanizing drums, the track channels a raw internal dialogue, with Iggy Pop embodying what Calvi describes as a destructive inner voice. The song balances tension and release, pairing Calvi’s sharp, cinematic songwriting with Pop’s unmistakable presence. Sonically, it leans into stark contrasts, combining moments of stillness with surging intensity, reinforcing its themes of emotional paralysis, defiance, and the desire to break free from hopelessness.
