Anna B Savage illuminates with new single ‘Lighthouse’
Anna B Savage has released ‘Lighthouse,’ the latest single from her upcoming album You & i are Earth, due out January 24, 2025, via City Slang.
Produced by John ‘Spud’ Murphy (Lankum, Black Midi), ‘Lighthouse’ continues Savage’s exploration of vulnerability and rootedness. The track’s gentle arrangement reflects Savage’s desire to create something as understated and meaningful as its message. The warmth of her voice and the tender production evoke a serene yet profound resonance, reinforcing the themes of healing and self-discovery present in the album.
On the track, Savage shares:
“A gentle love song about how I presumed I would end up alone, but found someone who makes me feel held, safe, and still a sort of (if you’ll forgive me) independent ship in the night. I tried to keep the production relatively simple like the song, as that’s how the emotion feels also. It’s just nice.”
