ammar shares new single ‘(nevermind)’ / Announces WHAT’S BEHIND BLUE SKIES?
The collection unites the artist’s diverse influences to create a fractured blend of experimental punk and alternative pop with rebellious undertones.
Connecticut-based artist and producer ammar has shared his new single ‘(nevermind).’ The track is his second of the year and comes with an announcement of his new project, WHAT’S BEHIND BLUE SKIES?.
“‘(nevermind)’ is a puzzling tale of love that’s all in my head,” ammar explains. “I envisioned the song as a love letter that I wrote and instantly threw away. I had no intention of telling this person how I truly felt, as love has been my relentless adversary, challenging me in all its forms, including the love for myself.”
Led by the new single, the project will also feature the previously released ‘pixie cut’ – a propulsive guitar cut stacked with distortion – and another new addition, ‘holy silence, interlude’ which acts as a palette cleanser between some of the more manic moments.
WHAT’S BEHIND BLUE SKIES? is set for release on December 13, 2023 via DISENGAGE. ‘(nevermind)’ is out now.
