Australian producer 44 Ardent drops energetic new track ‘Wake Up’

44 Ardent has released his latest single, ‘Wake Up,’ out now via Mammal Sounds Records.
Fresh off the back of his recent track ‘Curtain Call,’ 44 Ardent continues his run of standout releases with ‘Wake Up,’ a lively fusion of indie-dance and house that channels influences from Caribou, Jamie xx, and Tourist. Built around a pulsating Moog bassline and wide atmospheric textures, the track showcases his ability to craft immersive electronic landscapes while pushing beyond traditional genre boundaries.
He states:
“With this EP, I’m trying not to box myself into any particular style or mood, and just go with whatever comes naturally. This track actually came from a moment of procrastination. I’m in the final stretch of my PhD and needed a creative break, so I started messing around with a Moog bassline. I’ve got this plugin that emulates an A/DA STD-1 Delay Rack Unit—I ran the bass through it to make it super wide, and the rest of the song just wrote itself.”
Out now, ‘Wake Up’ gives a taste of what’s next from 44 Ardent.
