Los Angeles rock band 2070 has released their new single ‘Windowpane,’ out now via Danger Collective Records, offering another preview of their upcoming album Big Blue, due February 6, 2026.

‘Windowpane’ arrives with raw, forward-facing vocals set against chugging guitars and warm synth lines, capturing a sense of motion and reflection that runs throughout the track. Sonically, the single balances restraint and expansion, allowing space for melody while maintaining the band’s layered, textural approach. The song reflects 2070’s evolving sound, blending guitar-driven rock with softer synth elements that emphasize mood and pacing over density. An official music video accompanies the release, featuring painted visuals by artist 1celer that mirror the song’s reflective tone.

Bandleader Trevor Coleman shared insight into the track’s origins:

“Khari and I wrote and recorded a good portion of this in the summer of 2024. It is the last thing we recorded at my house in City Terrace, where most of our work had been done previously. When recording it, I was coming up with a melody for my vocals, and we joked that it sounded like something by Modest Mouse, which led to me doing an impression mocking Isaac Brock, but it ended up actually being too good to pass up, so we kept it as my vocal melody on this song. Khari sings on this, too, which is also sick.”

‘Windowpane’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
