NOFX may stop touring, but that doesn’t mean that they are through creating new music. Fat Mike wanted to make a double album “cuz there are no good ones out there. Pink Floyd’s The Wall is about it. Quadrophenia is OK, I guess if you’re a Who fan. Definitely not [The Beatles’] White Album. I don’t think anybody else has made good double albums. Certainly not Husker Du, Minutemen, or Smashing Pumpkins.”

White Lung: Premonition
Release Date: December 2

White Lung’s Premonition is set to be the fifth and final album from the Canadian punk rock band. The album is “about birth and rebirth. It’s about growing—and growing older—without losing the furious energy of youth. It’s the last album we’ll be getting from one of the best bands to ever do it.”

Neil Young: Harvest (50th Anniversary Edition)
Release Date: December 2

Neil Young’s 1971 Harvest is turning 50. To mark the occasion the Canadian rocker’s docu-film, Harvest Time “takes viewers on an intimate journey to Young’s Broken Arrow Ranch in Northern California for the ‘Harvest Barn’ sessions, to London for an iconic performance with the London Symphony Orchestra, and to Nashville where the then 20-something Neil Young worked on various tracks of this signature album,” a synopsis for Harvest Time reads.”

Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes: Boys & Girls (Deluxe Edition)
Release Date: December 9

Alabama Shakes’ debut album turns 10. To commemorate the 10th anniversary the repackaged release includes a foil-board gatefold, unreleased photos, and their live KCRW live performance prior to the album’s release in 2012.

My Morning Jacket

My Morning Jacket: Circuital (Deluxe Edition)
Release Date: December 9

Originally released on May 31, 2011, My Morning Jacket’s sixth studio album Circuital is getting a deluxe release. Included in the release are the original 10 tracks as well as 10 unreleased demos.

Sam Fendеr: Live from Finsbury Park
Release Date: December 9

On December 9, Fender will release Live from Finsbury Park. The LP captures Sam’s sold-out performance from the summer of 2022 in London. “This show was a real highlight for me and the boys, so we’re buzzing to share it with you,” the musician wrote on his Twitter.

SZA is readying herself for her first album since her debut album Ctrl. The St. Louis-born artist has described the project as her “most unisex album yet.” Stylistically, the sound of the album has been described as “a varied palette,” combining “surf rock” and “grunge” elements, alongside “her beloved lo-fi beats.”

Young Dolph

Before his murder, Young Dolph was almost complete with his next album Paper Route Frank. Released on the independent hip-hop label that Young Dolph built, Paper Route Empire, the posthumous album promises to show Dolph hungry and driven to create another chapter in his illustrious career.
