Nerves’ ‘N26’ is out now, marking the Irish band’s first new single of 2026 and a continuation of their recent work following their 2025 EP Iarmhaireacht.

The new single finds Nerves sharpening their sound into a more immediate and confrontational form. Produced by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band, ‘N26’ condenses the group’s industrial-leaning approach into three tightly wound minutes. The track carries a driving pulse that hints at techno while maintaining the force of noise rock, creating a balance between mechanical precision and raw intensity. Lyrically, ‘N26’ focuses on the slow erosion of rural Irish towns, addressing the lack of opportunity and the resulting sense of suspension felt by younger generations. The song builds on themes introduced in Iarmhaireacht, bringing them into clearer and more direct focus.

Nerves have announced a headline show at Dublin’s Workman’s Club on June 6, adding to a run of live appearances that includes a headline performance at the tenth anniversary of the Supersonic Festival.

‘N26’ is available now to stream on all platforms.
