Robber Robber unravels tension and uncertainty on new single ‘Pieces’
Robber Robber release their new single ‘Pieces’ ahead of the band’s upcoming album Two Wheels Move the Soul, arriving April 3, 2026 via Fire Talk Records.
‘Pieces’ is a slow-burning centerpiece from Two Wheels Move the Soul, reflecting on the aftermath of personal collapse and the process of rebuilding. Channeling the band’s blend of dissonant textures and driving rhythms, the song’s tense instrumentation and reflective lyricism capture uncertainty and determination shaped by a period of upheaval for the band.
Cates explains:
“This song is about trying to get the whole thing, but only managing to get pieces of it. Or thinking you have the whole thing, and seeing it get picked apart slowly or shattered in an instant. It’s about building your dream out of rusty scrapyard bits and navigating difficult terrain with no map. Every day mental gymnastics, echolocation, wading slowly through murky water.”
