Orange Doors explore nostalgia and adventure on ‘Infection’

Orange Doors, the psychedelic “tuba grunge” trio from Charleston, South Carolina, release their new single, ‘Infection.’ The song is the lead track from their upcoming EP Corn Planet out June 12.
‘Infection’ features a lower, darker feel in drop C# standard, with lyrical themes exploring aging and the relationships that come and go. The track builds on Orange Doors’ experimental style, merging fuzzed-out guitars, layered instrumentation, and tuba-driven arrangements to create a sound both adventurous and reflective. The single follows their previous release ‘Tornado,’ a collaboration with John Fernandes (The Olivia Tremor Control).
‘Infection’ sets the tone for Corn Planet‘s immersive sonic journey, combining nostalgia, adventure, and experimental energy in a way unique to Orange Doors.
Available now on all streaming platforms.
