Karnivool unveils tense new single ‘Animation’ ahead of long-awaited album
Karnivool releases their new single ‘Animation,’ marking the latest preview of their upcoming album In Verses, due out on February 6, 2026, via Cymatic Records / The Orchard.
‘Animation’ is a sprawling, rhythm-driven track highlighting Karnivool’s return after nearly 13 years since their last full-length. The single leans into the band’s dynamic low end, using tight grooves and shifting structures to build tension and momentum. Its sound reflects Karnivool’s progressive metal roots, favoring restraint and precision as the rhythm section anchors the track’s emotional weight. As a standalone release, ‘Animation’ captures unease and forward motion, aligning with In Verses‘ themes.
