Portland-based indie-pop duo New Constellations release their new single ‘I Disappear’ today, January 16, 2026, offering the latest preview of their upcoming debut album It Comes In Waves, due May 15, 2026, via Nettwerk.

‘I Disappear’ arrives as a raw and introspective release that centers on anxiety, self-doubt, and the experience of losing yourself within spiraling thoughts. Built with a restrained, reflective approach, the song prioritizes emotional clarity over spectacle, allowing its lyrical focus to remain at the forefront. The track captures a moment of internal pause, exploring what happens when mental noise overtakes presence, and frames that struggle within New Constellations’ signature indie-pop sound.

Case says:

“I was going through a really heavy time, and ‘I Disappear’ was written as a stream of consciousness. It’s based on the idea that when you start to spiral about shit and get super in your head about something, you disappear from yourself and the present moment. I believe so much in the law of attraction and manifestation, which also works oppositely. If I’m capable of controlling outcomes with my mind, then I’m fucked right now, because I’m stuck in this loop.”

‘I Disappear’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
