Katie Tupper has released her new single ‘Safe Ground,’ offering the final preview of her debut album Greyhound, out January 21, 2026, via Arts & Crafts.

The Saskatoon-born singer and songwriter unveiled ‘Safe Ground’ on January 6, 2026, continuing her run of soul-forward singles ahead of the full-length release. Rooted in intimacy and restraint, the track blends soul, indie, and alternative R&B, anchored by Tupper’s smoky alto vocals and understated guitar work. The production emphasizes space and patience, allowing subtle keys, harmonies, and a distant rhythmic pulse to fill the song’s negative space without overwhelming its emotional core. Lyrically, ‘Safe Ground’ centers on devotion and steadiness, framing love not as romance, but as presence and trust.

She shares:

“This is my platonic love song. I wrote it to my best friend about how lucky I feel to know her. It is my promise to her to always be a safe spot for her to land.”

‘Safe Ground’ is available now to stream on all major platforms.
