Girl Tones surge forward with new single ‘Leave The City’

Girl Tones release their new single ‘Leave The City’ today, out now via Parallel Vision x Big Loud Rock, and produced by Brad Shultz of Cage The Elephant. The high-energy rock duo close out 2025 with a track that captures their year on the road and the momentum they continue to build.
‘Leave The City’ leans into the band’s raw, scuzzy sound, mixing punchy guitar work and an anthemic pulse built for open-air sing-alongs. The single reflects Girl Tones’ sense of dislocation after a year spent touring the world, drawing on themes of gratitude, exhaustion, and wide-eyed ambition. It arrives accompanied by a visualizer and marks another step forward in their growing catalog.
Speaking about the new release, the band shared:
“‘Leave the City’ is about growing pains, it plays on the idea of loving where you are from, but feeling out of place. Navigating between pain and nostalgia in a place that you simultaneously love and hate.”
‘Leave The City’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
We’ve covered Girl Tones previously: ‘Burnout,’ ‘Got It,’ ‘Blame,’ ‘Fade Away.’
