Fred Again, Sammy Virji, and Winny light up the dance floor with ‘Winny’
Fred Again, Sammy Virji, and Nigerian singer Winny release their new single ‘Winny,’ a collaborative track built around samples from Winny’s songs ‘Lego,’ ‘9-5’ and ‘Utility Player,’ all taken from her EP Commercial Break. The single arrives as part of Fred Again’s ongoing USB album series.
Powered by Winny’s distinctive, sultry vocals, ‘Winny’ anchors its dance production in rhythmic vocal loops and melodic fragments drawn from her earlier work. Fred Again and Sammy Virji thread the samples through a club-focused arrangement, creating a track that merges UK dance sensibilities with Winny’s Afro-reggae, R&B, and soul influences. The result is a tightly constructed single that highlights both her vocal presence and the collaborators’ shared approach to genre-blending.
‘Winny’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
