Dharma Guns ignite their dandy-punk frenzy on new single ‘Devil’s Beat’
Dharma Guns release their new single ‘Devil’s Beat,’ out now, via Rockhopper Music. The track delivers a high-energy, action-rock blast that continues their momentum toward a forthcoming album arriving in spring 2026.
‘Devil’s Beat’ pulls attitude from Motörhead and the swagger of Blur, merging muscular guitar work, a shout-along chorus, and proto-punk edge into a sound that remains distinctly Dharma Guns. The track embraces the reckless charm of rock’n’roll’s darker corners, pairing driving riffs with lyrics celebrating the “evil powers” of the genre. The single arrives alongside a music video filmed in the indoor swimming pool that doubles as the band’s rehearsal space, shot using a 360° camera and body-mounted rigs by drummer Olli Vartiainen to capture their raw practice-room intensity.
Singer-guitarist Pete Leppänen explains the track’s spirit, saying:
“If ‘King of Action Rock’ felt like a punch below the belt, then ‘Devil’s Beat’ pushes you straight into a vengeful chase — right onto the Devil’s trail.”
‘Devil’s Beat’ is available now on all streaming platforms. The track offers a fierce preview of Dharma Guns’ forthcoming album, due in spring 2026.
