Berlin-based outfit Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys have released their new single ‘Ambient Heat,’ out October 31st, ahead of their forthcoming seventh studio album Pale Bloom, arriving February 13th, 2026 via Unique Records.

Built on a steady, heartbeat-like bassline and layered with grainy textures, ‘Ambient Heat’ unfolds as a hypnotic exploration of sound and sensation. The song merges noise-infused rock and ambient pop, with Kruger’s euphoric vocals guiding listeners through themes of care, memory, and transformation. Its atmosphere rises and falls like breath, tracing the tension between innocence and existential awareness.

Kruger explains:

“The song is a bit of an existential fever dream, circling questions of care. On a very hot day in Neukölln, where I live in Berlin, the air seems to hover above the concrete. Ambient heat seeps into your bones and into your thoughts, until it feels like the world is trying to spit you out. As a child, heat like that was simply a sensation to be endured – and perhaps even enjoyed. Now it arrives as a painful question, a reminder, a reprimand – and a warning of so many other frightening things. The song comes out of that state.”

‘Ambient Heat’ is available now on all streaming platforms. Pale Bloom is out February 13th, 2026 via Unique Records.
