Girl Tones’ ‘Burnout’ brings high-energy riffs and raw emotion

Rock duo Girl Tones have returned with their fiery new single ‘Burnout,’ out now via Parallel Vision x Big Loud Rock. The track is set to feature in an upcoming episode of ABC’s High Potential on October 7, adding another milestone to the band’s fast-rising profile.
‘Burnout’ is a guitar-driven anthem that showcases the group’s combustible energy and sharp lyricism. The official video, directed by Casey Pierce in Nashville, places the band at the center of a tense bank heist, capturing the chaos of grabbing what you want before burning the evidence to ashes. With its high-octane riffs and unapologetic punch, the track mirrors the duo’s relentless pace in 2025, a year that has already seen festival debuts at Lollapalooza and Shaky Knees.
Vocalist Kenzie explained:
“‘Burnout’ is about our attention spans shrinking and the need for instant gratification. The pressure of constantly producing and consuming. How do we keep up without burning out? This song inspires me to slow down and enjoy the smaller things in life and preserve the creative spark at all costs.”
‘Burnout’ is out now.
