Matt Pryor releases new single ‘The Dishonesty’ from upcoming album The Salton Sea

Matt Pryor, best known as frontman of The Get Up Kids, has released ‘The Dishonesty,’ the second single from his upcoming solo album The Salton Sea, due out November 14 via Nightshoes Syndicate/Big Scary Monsters.
Arriving with a video directed by Josh Berwanger of The Anniversary, ‘The Dishonesty’ is an urgent and heartfelt track that continues Pryor’s exploration of his difficult road to sobriety.
Pryor says of the track:
“This is a song about lying and hurting the people you love when you’re in the throes of addiction. I think Josh really captured the insanity of how that feels.”
With ‘The Dishonesty,’ Pryor offers a raw and powerful preview of The Salton Sea, setting the tone for an album that documents pain, recovery, and the ongoing process of self-discovery.
