East Coast indie rock duo Joyer, the project of brothers Nick and Shane Sullivan, have shared their latest single ‘Glare of the Beer Can,’ a preview of their upcoming album On The Other End of the Line…, out October 24, 2025 via Julia’s War Recordings. The track arrives with an official visualizer that reflects on memories of the past, pairing twangy guitars and propulsive drums with nostalgic imagery.

Recorded at Palisade Studios in Chicago and produced by Slow Pulp’s Henry Stoehr, the new album finds Joyer dialing back their shoegaze leanings and instead leaning into melody, texture, and intimate storytelling. ‘Glare of the Beer Can’ follows previous singles ‘Cure’ and ‘Spell,’ each highlighting the band’s evolution since their 2024 full-length Night Songs. Lyrically, the single explores the lingering presence of someone in both the mundane and beautiful moments of life, elevating the everyday through memory and emotion.

Nick Sullivan states:

“This song is about being reminded of someone everywhere you go. It’s about seeing that person in both the good and bad things in life. It adds meaning to the mundane and enhances the beautiful things.”

‘Glare of the Beer Can’ is out now. The band will hit the road this fall, beginning a headlining run on October 22 in Boston before supporting Rocket, Teethe, and villagerrr on select U.S. dates through December.
