Tiberius shares new single ‘Moab’ ahead of debut album Troubadour

Boston-based “Farm Emo” outfit Tiberius have released their latest single ‘Moab,’ the third preview of their forthcoming label debut album Troubadour, arriving November 14th via Audio Antihero.
Following the more urgent energy of their earlier singles ‘Sag‘ and ‘Felt,’ ‘Moab’ shifts the band’s focus toward a warmer, more rustic palette. The track blends elements of country, folk, indie rock, and pop melodies, while retaining the confessional lyricism that has become a Tiberius hallmark. Named after the city in the Colorado Plateau desert, ‘Moab’ has already been a fan favorite in live sets. The single highlights both the band’s sonic ambition and their personal lyricism.
Speaking about the track, Wright explained:
“‘Moab’ was a song I wrote about trying to let go. At the time I was defining myself by expectations of a strained relationship. I was feeling pretty insane – like the kind of insane you feel back in 8th grade where you come home crying all of the time because you have absolutely no sense of self. Writing ‘Moab’ offered catharsis. Looking back, I feel a lot of embarrassment around those feelings, – but it was how I felt at the time and that was the place I was in. I wish I had acted differently, and I strive to now.”
With Troubadour now available for pre-order, Tiberius is preparing to share their most expansive work yet. The band will support the release with upcoming shows, including an album launch event at Warehouse XI in Boston on November 15th. Other live dates include O’Brien’s in Allston on September 3rd, Dungeon Fest ’25 in Weymouth on September 13th, and Skate Park in Cambridge on September 25th.
‘Moab’ is out now.
