Australian producer and DJ HARLEY GIRL has released his latest single, ‘The Music,’ the title track from his upcoming EP set to arrive this December.

‘The Music’ marks an important milestone for HARLEY GIRL as it’s the first track he has written and recorded his own vocals on. Built around an instrumental he had been refining for some time, the song pairs eccentric lyrical ideas with an irresistible chorus. What began as humorous lines about UFOs and chatbots evolved into a track that captures the chaos of modern life while offering music itself as a form of temporary relief.

As HARLEY GIRL explains:

“‘The Music’ is the first harley track I’ve written and recorded my own vocals on. I had a version of the instrumental I kept coming back to and had tried a heap of other vocals on it that I couldn’t quite get sitting right. I started with these kinds of funny lyrics about UFO’s and chatbots, and how sort of unhinged the world feels to me at the moment. It all fell into place with the chorus lyrics which are about how music can be a form of momentary reprieve from that craziness.”

‘The Music’ is out now on all streaming platforms.
