‘Falling Behind’ showcases Yndling’s hypnotic evolution before new album
Oslo’s dream pop artist Yndling returns with her new single ‘Falling Behind,’ offering a deeper glimpse into her forthcoming sophomore album Time Time Time (I’m in the Palm of Your Hand), due November 4 via Spirit Goth Records.
‘Falling Behind’ builds on the momentum of Yndling’s recent single ‘Fences,’ diving headfirst into the darker, seductive edges of trip-hop. Anchored by a relentless beat, the track layers hazy shoegaze textures, ethereal Björk-like vocals, and psychedelic soundscapes. Its hypnotic repetition lends a meditative feel, blurring the line between dream pop and trip-hop while expanding her sound into new territory.

“This song has been so much fun to play live this spring and summer, and I’m so excited for it to finally be out! It was one of my most trip-hop inspired songs from the start. I really like the groove and the repetitiveness of the chorus—we wanted to give it a meditative feel.”
