The Midnight usher in the end of summer with new single ‘Summer’s Ending Soon’

The Midnight have shared ‘Summer’s Ending Soon,’ the cinematic closer to their upcoming album Syndicate, out October 3 on Ultra Records.
Capturing the bittersweet shift from summer into fall, ‘Summer’s Ending Soon’ begins with a crack of lightning before unfolding into widescreen nostalgia. Shimmering synths and emotive melodies turn the song into what feels like the credits of a classic John Hughes film, echoing the themes of memory, impermanence, and connection that run throughout the record. Written and sung by Tyler Lyle and produced and mixed by Tim McEwan, the track highlights the duo’s gift for pairing timeless moods with a distinctly modern edge.
Syndicate arrives as the band prepares for a fall UK and European tour, with dates in Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Paris, London, Glasgow, Dublin, and more. Following their sold-out 2024 North American co-headlining tour with Chromeo and acclaimed runs in Australia and India, The Midnight continue to solidify their reputation as a powerhouse live act.
‘Summer’s Ending Soon’ is available now across all platforms.
