Rock band The Technicolors are turning up the volume with ‘Alpha Alpha Alpha,’ the final single before the release of their highly anticipated album Heavy Pulp, due August 29 via SoundOn.

‘Alpha Alpha Alpha’ is a blistering, adrenaline-fueled track. It takes aim at narcissism with a frenzied, raunchy guitar tone and unrelenting pace. The song’s urgent energy reflects the creative spark that reignited the band’s writing process. It serves as both a standalone powerhouse and a taste of the bold rock statement Heavy Pulp promises to deliver.

Guitarist Sean Silverman said:

“‘Alpha Alpha Alpha’ was born after a late night in Nashville. Brennan and I stumbled onto this wild, urgent riff — relentless, fast, and unhinged — that we couldn’t put down. We started building a little character around it, leaning into the theme of machismo or the genuine lack there of and letting that energy drive the song. It became one of those raw bursts of inspiration that helped jump-start the writing process after we’d been sitting with some of the earlier ideas. It’s one of my favorites off of the new record.”

To celebrate the release, the band will play three album release shows: August 29 in Los Angeles at Zebulon, August 30 in Phoenix at Valley Bar (sold out), and September 5 in Brooklyn at Sultan Room, all supported by Jo Alice.
