Villagerrr return with their new single ‘Ride or Die,’ a collaboration with Lydia Slocum of feeble little horse, and the first preview from the deluxe reissue of Tear Your Heart Out, arriving October 10 via Winspear.

Originally one of five previously unreleased tracks on the expanded edition, ‘Ride or Die’ blends Villagerrr’s indie rock warmth and twang-infused melodies with Slocum’s distinctive vocals. Written during a period of transition after Scott’s move to Columbus, Ohio, the track channels the artist’s understated yet emotionally resonant style while leaning into pop sensibilities. It follows the LP’s original release earlier this year on Darling Recordings, which earned warm praise and tours alongside Real Estate, Horse Jumper of Love, and Momma. The Winspear reissue marks the album’s first vinyl pressing, paired with a digital deluxe edition.

“I just wanted to write a pop song that felt good and fun. And I love Lydia’s voice and went out on a whim to see if she’d wanna sing on the song.”

‘Ride or Die’ is out now, with Villagerrr touring extensively through December in support of the deluxe reissue.
