Grant Pavol unveils ‘Save Some Time’ single and video ahead of new EP
Philadelphia-born, NYC-based singer-songwriter Grant Pavol has released ‘Save Some Time,’ the title track from his forthcoming EP arriving August 22. The single is accompanied by a stylish, lo-fi-inspired video directed by Nara Avakian of Nara’s Room.
‘Save Some Time’ blends slowcore rhythms with Scott Walker-influenced strings, underpinned by cellos, violas, and a clanging piano, occasionally punctuated by clean guitar leads in freefall. Beneath its rich instrumentation, the lyrics center on the anxiety of rushing and tardiness, while Pavol’s knack for airy, infectious melodies shines through.
‘Save Some Time’ is out now. His third EP, Save Some Time, is scheduled for release on Friday, August 22.
