Sunnsetter, the project of multi-instrumentalist Andrew McLeod, has just unveiled a hard-hitting new single, ‘Fear It Comes in Waves,’ from the upcoming album Heaven Hang Over Me, due for release on November 15, 2024, via Paper Bag Records.

Propelled by soaring guitar lines and layered vocals, ‘Fear It Comes In Waves’ opens with an immediate surge of intensity. On it, McLeod explores the theme of anxiety and the unpredictability of dread, likening it to waves that crash into daily life, no matter how much you try to cope. The song’s melodic drive and dynamic shifts reflect this emotional turbulence, creating a captivating soundscape.

As McLeod explains as:

“the daily dread or anxiety that just finds its way into your everyday life, in waves, even when you find ways to cope with it.”

Out now, ‘Fear It Comes In Waves’ is a bold introduction to what’s shaping up to be a remarkable album.
