Hope Tala delivers a soulful anthem with new single ‘Thank Goodness’
Rising R&B and neo-soul star Hope Tala returns with a summer-soaked anthem, ‘Thank Goodness.’ The track blends her smooth, soulful sound with poetic storytelling.
‘Thank Goodness,’ released via PMR Records, captures the relief of dodging a bullet after a breakup, showcasing Hope’s signature blend of introspective lyrics and rich, melodic instrumentation.
Speaking about the creation of ‘Thank Goodness,’ Hope shared:
“I experienced a pretty horrible breakup not too long before writing this song. As I explained everything that had been going on in my life at the time to Caroline Ailin and Stint, who I made it with, I used the phrase ‘thank goodness’. Once we finished chatting, Caroline said we should use the phrase as a title. I was a bit taken aback at first – I probably wouldn’t have considered using it if I had been writing on my own – but once the song was finished I remember thinking wow, this is exactly what I’ve been wanting to say. Then it really became my ‘better off’ anthem.”
