ART d’ECCO releases new single and video ‘I Feel Alive’
Art d’Ecco has returned with his first new music in almost two years, releasing the single and video for ‘I Feel Alive.’
Initially emerging during the summer of 2023 when Art was in LA, the track notes were found while combing through his iPhone voice memos for inspiration. A loose chord progression was found and built on the track during spontaneous sessions with Kevin and Charlie from the band Sure Sure. Further time was invested back in Vancouver to add horns and other flourishes, with the track ultimately being mixed by Gus Van Go in Toronto. Art’s directive to him was, “Go as big and wide as possible.”
Reflecting on the song, Art d’Ecco explains:
“‘I Feel Alive’ is about breaking free. I wanted to tie my love for music to that feeling of being alive – when a song lights you on fire from the inside – it’s a powerful, undeniable emotion.”
