Rum Jungle’s new single ‘Did The Morning Let You Down’ captures post-tour energy

Australian indie band Rum Jungle has just wrapped up a successful 14-date UK/EU tour, where they sold out multiple nights in both the UK and Germany.
Their latest single, ‘Did The Morning Let You Down,’ marks the first installment of new music for 2024. The release comes after a productive recording session at Sonora Studios, where the band, fueled by high spirits and creative synergy, crafted an honest display of sonic melodies that reflect the good times of the session. With the help of engineer Jack Nigro and Tasker, Rum Jungle’s new track showcases their cohesive and vibrant sound.
Frazer from the band shared:
“It is with a huge amount of gratitude that we present to you all, a song in which we had the most fun we have ever had whilst recording.”
Benny adds:
“You’d be lying to yourself if there hasn’t been a morning in your life that you’ve not been stoked with the events of the night before or something’s weighing you down and that morning it hits you hard. Mistakes get made, shit goes wrong, everything’s tough for everyone in their own relative state. What this one is about though is pickin’ up and rollin’ on and understanding the world is the way it is, and finding that thing or person or reason to charge on with some sonic stability.”
‘Did The Morning Let You Down,’ is now available to stream.
