Ellysse Mason shares emotional alt-pop anthem ‘Cry Baby’ ahead of EP

Produced by Ed Graves at Rainbow Wood Studios, ‘Cry Baby’ delves into the complexities of a soured relationship, shedding light on emotional manipulation and a lack of accountability from a former partner.
Rising singer/songwriter Ellysse Mason has released her latest single, ‘Cry Baby.’ With a soaring alt-pop production and a climactic chorus, the track serves as a cathartic journey of personal strength and growth, resonating with those who have overcome traumatic relationships.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Mason shares:
“In a way, writing ‘Cry Baby’ was my CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). It helped me process and heal from the fallout left behind from that relationship. It also held up a mirror to me, and showed me where I’ve been self-destructive, why I attract those kinds of relationships and friendships, and why I couldn’t work out what was going wrong.”
‘Cry Baby’ is out now on all streaming services.
