St. Louis-based band Hot Joy sets the stage on fire with their latest single and video release, ‘Head out of the Window,’ marking the final preview of their highly anticipated debut EP, Small Favor, set to drop this Friday, April 19th.
Described as an emotional centerpiece of the EP, the track reflects guitarist and vocalist Austin McCutchen’s journey and experiences with touring. McCutchen’s introspective lyrics delve into the complexities of life on the road, capturing the exhilaration and challenges of the touring lifestyle.
He shares:
“The lyrics for this song became my ode to touring – something I did for the majority of my 20s, that started to slow down more and more before coming to a complete halt.”
