Paving the way for their highly anticipated album, Darkroom, dream-pop sensation Ghostly Kisses enchant listeners once again with their latest release, ‘Crimson.’

Following the ethereal anthem ‘Keep It Real‘ from mid-February, Ghostly Kisses deliver a compelling new single brimming with substance. Produced by acclaimed producer Oli Bayton, ‘Crimson’ features Margaux Sauvé’s captivating vocals as she delves into themes of individual rights and freedom. The song’s percussive dreamscape, adorned with orchestral elements, offers a glimpse into the upcoming album’s sonic landscape.

When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Margaux Sauvé, lead vocalist of Ghostly Kisses explained:

“Crimson holds a special place for us within Darkroom, primarily due to the emotional depth of the themes it explores. Through the Box of Secrets, we received numerous revealing confessions of homosexuality and the challenges individuals face in expressing or living their love due to familial or societal constraints. Crimson aims to be a broader reflection and claim on individual rights and freedom, also echoing events such as the tragic death of Mahsa Amini and the Iranian protest movement for women’s freedom.”

‘Crimson’ is out now. Darkroom is scheduled for release on May 17th, 2024.
