Brisbane rising pop star, Asha Jefferies, unveils her latest single, ‘Keep My Shit Together,’ an infectious blend of head-spinning indie-pop that captures both humor and profundity in its verses.

Originally from the coastal region of Northern Rivers in Australia and now firmly rooted in Brisbane, Asha Jefferies has released her latest single, ‘Keep My Shit Together.’

Produced and mixed by Sam Cromack of Ball Park Music, ‘Keep My Shit Together’ ventures into themes of milestone-induced anxiety, particularly during the holiday season. Jefferies candidly navigates the emotional complexities of celebrating Christmas with a new partner, juxtaposed with contemplations about city life’s frenetic energy. The track serves as an ode to lightening the emotional weight during the festive season, encapsulating both humor and introspection.

Jefferies shares insight into the song’s inception and its connection to the holiday season, revealing:

“‘Keep My Shit Together’ was written one hot and sweaty day around my piano in December. While feeling stuck and existential, this song is an ode to bringing lightness to hot and heavy feelings around Christmas time. We recorded this in mid-December, air-con cranking and all in organised matching white tank tops.”

‘Keep Me Shit Together’ is out now via Nettwerk.
