Hozier – Unreal Unearth
Hozier’s third studio album, Unreal Unearth, released on August 18, 2023, features the singles ‘Eat Your Young,’ ‘Francesca,’ and ‘All Things End.’ Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, the album reflects Hozier’s attempt to comprehend the past two years, drawing inspiration from Dante’s Inferno and its nine circles of Hell. Currently on tour across Ireland, the UK, and North America from June to December 2023, Hozier described the album as “quite eclectic” and stated that there is “something of a retrospective in what the sounds lean into.”

Osees – Intercepted Message
Unveiling their highly-anticipated studio album, Intercepted Message, American rock band Osees once again are set to take the music scene by storm. Released on August 18, 2023, via In the Red Records, the album showcases the band’s evolution as it is a bold departure from their previous works, which fused garage rock, noise rock, and psychedelia. Embracing a new direction, the album boasts an electrifying electronic sound, infusing elements of synth-punk and new wave.

The Velveteins – Declarations of the 3am Freeway
The Velveteins’ sophomore album, Declarations of the 3am Freeway, released on August 18, 2023, follows their 2017 debut Slow Wave. The title track is a synth-heavy driving track that captures the ambience of a nocturnal road trip, encapsulating both the allure and solitude of the open road. Among the album’s diverse offerings are the ethereal ballad ‘Athene,’ the infectious pop-rock tune and the psychedelic instrumental ‘Strange Medicine.’ On Declarations of the 3am Freeway, the Canadian quintet doesn’t hold back allowing them to reach new heights.
