3 New Albums Out this week you Should Listen to Now: James Blake, Trivium, and Badbadnotgood
James Blake – Friends That Break Your Heart
James Blake’s fifth album, Friends That Break Your Heart is an intimate affair that’s well composed and includes dreary electronics and subject matter that fits to a tee. Blake effortlessly navigates through the 12-track album often making heartbreak sound like something you want to happen to you. The album was originally scheduled for release on September 10, 2021, but due to physical production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed to October 8, 2021. The album was produced by James Blake and a long list of others: Dominic Maker, Jameela Jamil, Take a Daytrip, Joji, Khushi, Josh Stadlen, Metro, Boomin, Frank Dukes, and Rick Nowels. It was released by Republic Records and Polydor Records.
Trivium – In The Court Of The Dragon
In the Court of the Dragon is the tenth studio album from American heavy metal outfit Trivium. The album is a continuation of the hard-hitting sound they’ve perfected over the years. It’s an album that pure metal enthusiasts as well as others not familiar with the band will enjoy. In the Court of the Dragon was released on October 8, 2021, through Roadrunner Records and was produced by Josh Wilbur.
BadBadNotGood – Talk Memory
The Canadian jazz and hip hop instrumental group has released their fifth album and first in five years.
