Somewhere In Between, the Canadian-American indie folk duo composed of husband and wife Deena Robertson and Austin Bisnow, have returned with a powerful new track titled ‘Lay Your Head On Me.’

The song is the first glimpse of their upcoming sophomore album and showcases a shift in sonic direction for the duo. Drawing on the emotional intricacies of Thom Yorke and Tom Odell while channeling the warmth and intimacy of The Lumineers and Bon Iver, the single is a cinematic, feel-good anthem grounded in human connection.

‘Lay Your Head On Me’ is rooted in a personal vow made early in their relationship: in moments of pain or fear, they’d pause and connect—head on chest. The track reflects this gesture of love and trust, turning it into a universal message of reassurance and calm in chaotic times.

‘Lay Your Head On Me’ is out now.
