Eora/Sydney-based DJ and producer Monster Machine makes a thunderous entrance with her debut single ‘Rage,’ a ferocious blend of trap grit and drum & bass intensity.

After two years refining her sound behind the decks, Monster Machine steps confidently into the spotlight, introducing listeners to a bold new sonic identity. ‘Rage’ is the first taste of her forthcoming debut EP EXALTED, due out this November, and it’s nothing short of explosive.

Built on pounding beats and electrified drops, ‘Rage’ draws inspiration from the percussive pulse of Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy.’ Monster Machine, also known as Penny Yang, shares the origin of the track’s core idea:

“The idea for ‘Rage’ came about as I was driving and listening to Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy.’ The sample and pulsing rhythm of the pedestrian light crossing that she used in her track was huge inspiration, and I wanted to recreate a version of that in EDM form.”

‘Rage’ is out now on all major streaming platforms, with EXALTED slated to follow in November.
