Exclusive Premiere: Lips of Strangers blend dream pop and nostalgia on ‘Too Long For Lovers’

New Jersey indie dream-pop outfit Lips of Strangers have returned with their latest single ‘Too Long For Lovers.’ The track also serves as the title song and lead single from their upcoming EP Too Long For Lovers, arriving November 14 via Starfish Records.
‘Too Long For Lovers’ is a dreamy, synth-driven and emotionally charged pop moment. Glowing with warm 1980s nostalgia while staying rooted in the present, the single captures the essence of the band’s sound—equal parts atmospheric and intimate. Originally conceived to expand their live set, the band refined much of the EP on stage before heading into the studio. During that process, ‘Too Long For Lovers’ was added and quickly rose to define the project.
The five-track EP highlights the talents of Spencer Miles (guitar, bass, keys, vocals, production), Kate Victor (keys, vocals), Zach Abramson (bass), Tim Alworth (drums), and Jim Orso (drums, percussion). Mixed by Andrew Maury and Jordan Lawlor, the project follows the band’s self-titled debut EP earlier this year.
‘Too Long For Lovers’ is out now on all streaming platforms. The full EP Too Long For Lovers is set for release on November 14.
