GRiZ and Flowdan unite for explosive single ‘Coast 2 Coast’
GRiZ continues his electric 2025 comeback with a heavy-hitting new single, ‘Coast 2 Coast,’ featuring UK grime icon Flowdan.
Following his recent ‘Chaos Theory’ collaboration with Wooli and surprise GEMiNI EP, ‘Coast 2 Coast’ furthers GRiZ’s genre-defying momentum with a transatlantic blend of deep bass and grime energy. Flowdan’s commanding vocal presence meets GRiZ’s razor-sharp production for a festival-ready anthem built for peak-hour chaos.
The song began as an unreleased ID, circulated among GRiZ’s peers during his hiatus and championed by names like Subtronics, Tape B, Wooli, and Levity. The original version, which sampled Flowdan’s line from Sammy Virji’s ‘Shella Verse,’ quickly earned underground acclaim. Flowdan then re-recorded a brand-new topline, transforming the track into a wholly original release.
With Flowdan’s signature intensity layered over GRiZ’s futuristic basslines, ‘Coast 2 Coast’ is a standout moment in his post-hiatus catalog. The single arrives alongside a stylized video directed by Zach Okami (Isoknock, Bad Bunny), featuring Flowdan’s performance reimagined through surreal and kinetic visual storytelling.
