Spectre Jones releases their first single off their upcoming full-length debut album Joy in the Morning.

Produced by: James Krausse

From the sunny shores of Los Angeles comes a talented indie rock band with a wide range of influences, Spectre Jones. Today the five-piece have released their first single off their debut album, Joy in the Morning. The track, ‘Sisters & Brothers,’ is a feel-good song about the importance of recognizing another’s point of view even amid conflict. The track features Wilson Howard on vocals and bass, Alexa Shafer on drums and percussion, Brett Stratemeyer on synth, Jacob Williams on guitar and synth, and John Lowell Anderson on guitar and synth. Together, they can all be heard singing in unison as one happy “family” of sisters and brothers.

The back story regarding the release may come as a surprise to some. The band requested help from the greater community in the form of a crowdfunding campaign. As a result, the band secured recording time at the famed Boulevard Recording in Hollywood with James Krausse (Beyonce, Nick Jonas, Santana) at the helm (production and engineering).

‘Sisters & Brothers’ is available everywhere today.
