Produced by: Slouch Online

Reader’s of The Daily Music Report should be familiar with Slouch Online’s music. We covered the L.A. artist’s last single from November, ‘This Is All Just Part Of the Show.’ Now he’s back with his last track of 2021, ‘Skelly’s.’

This latest track started after Slouch reflected on his past relationship mistakes. It chronicles how he intertwined his personal growth and learning from these failed relationships, “Looking back on it, you could say the song is about past mistakes involving relationships. As it progresses it’s more about growth and letting go.” Slouch goes on to describe his process and how the song came about, “This song like many others was created in my apartment studio. It started with me playing a couple synth chords on the piano that caught my ear, and then I stumbled upon a drum loop that happened to fit perfectly. After that, I pulled up a bass sound and fiddled around with the bass line until I landed on the one. At this point, the beat had such a nice groove, so I just started writing with no real intention. I started humming a cool melody and just went from there.”

‘Skelly’s’ is available everywhere now via Mammal Sounds Records and stay tuned for more new music from Slouch Online very soon.
