Out now, Wrapped in Plastic marks the first full-length album from Pry, the New York-based project of Simeon Beardsley and Amara Bush. Having first arrived on the scene in 2023 with their single ‘Don’t You Want to See,’ Pry has steadily built momentum with standout releases like ‘Tether You,’ ‘Heaven,’ ‘Greener,’ and ‘So Good.’ On Wrapped in Plastic, the duo synthesizes a broad set of influences—from ‘90s alt-rock and shoegaze to modern indie-pop—into a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-looking. The result is a confident, emotionally resonant body of work that thrives on explosive dynamics and lyrical vulnerability.
