Mo Lowda & the Humble chase new horizons on fifth album Tailing the Ghost

Philadelphia indie rockers Mo Lowda & the Humble have released their fifth studio album Tailing the Ghost on June 20, 2025.
Produced by: Mo Lowda & the Humble
Self-produced and recorded entirely on the road—from Joshua Tree and the Rocky Mountains to lake-side cabins in Texas—Tailing the Ghost captures the restless spirit of a band in motion. Known for their energetic live shows and relentless touring schedule, the trio leaned into spontaneity and atmosphere, tracking the majority of the album live. The result is their most cohesive yet adventurous effort to date, with lush production and a sonic palette that stretches from hooky guitar riffs to warm, expansive melodies.
The album includes standout tracks like ‘Fitzroy,’ ‘The Painter,’ ‘7.31,’ ‘Sara’s Got Big Plans,’ and ‘To Keep Sane in the Dark,’ each rooted in lived-in storytelling and grounded by the band’s road-tested chemistry. From the wistful harmonies of ‘Northside Violet’ to the driving title track, Tailing the Ghost reflects a band comfortable in their evolution—pushing forward without losing sight of where they started.
Tailing the Ghost is a snapshot of a band in transit—chasing inspiration across the country and delivering it with every mile.
