Rising alt-rock trio milkshed. have released their highly anticipated second EP, LMTD. The band’s latest effort captures their raw, unfiltered energy, recorded live in the intimate setting of frontman Cam Gallaher’s home studio in Devon.

Following the success of their single ‘Just Wanna Give,’ which earned them interviews with BBC Introducing and The Unsigned Guide, LMTD pushes milkshed.’s sound further. The four-track EP delivers a grittier, more organic feel by stripping back studio polish and embracing a live recording approach. The title track kicks things off with frenetic guitar riffs and driving drum licks, immediately immersing listeners in the band’s high-energy dynamic. “We wanted to make this EP feel as real as possible,” explains Gallaher, who also produced the record, with bassist Jake Tulley adding, “Our goal was for listeners to experience the same energy we bring to our shows.”

Exploring existential themes and introspective reflections, LMTD presents a mix of powerful, grunge-fueled anthems and emotionally charged moments. ‘Do It Again’ channels Queens of the Stone Age influences while dissecting the dark side of social media and its impact on artists’ mental health. Meanwhile, ‘Just Wanna Give’ highlights a softer side of the band, reflecting Gallaher’s philosophy of embracing love and self-acceptance. Gallaher shares, “I’ve always likened writing lyrics to looking through a keyhole of your mind where you get a glimpse of what your subconscious might be thinking about.”
