Marseille quartet La Flemme crash onto the scene with La Fête, a frenzied, euphoric debut that delivers a whirlwind of garage-pop grit and psychedelic sparkle.

Produced by: La Flemme

Formed almost on a whim—after a tipsy night and a bet to build a live act in just two months—La Flemme has quickly proven themselves as a new force in French rock. With members coming from other local bands like Technopolice, Flathead, and Tessina, the foursome combine their energies into a raw, charismatic sound that’s already earned them major accolades: winners of the Inrocks Super Club and a spot at the 2025 Inrocks Festival, plus an appearance on national TV show Quotidien.

The album is a tightly packed 9-track ride through the chaotic beauty of post-adolescent life—equal parts introspective and wild. From the fuzzed-out riffs of ‘Demain’ to the sardonic punch of ‘Sans Fond,’ La Fête channels the spirit of Marseille into sonic form. Its themes ricochet between party highs and existential lows—all carried by infectious hooks and unfiltered urgency.

La Flemme might call themselves lazy, but there’s nothing sluggish about La Fête. It’s a bold, electric debut that highlights the band as a standout of the French rock revival—and one hell of a good time.

Standout Songs: ‘La Fête,’ ‘Oiseau,’ ‘Marre de Vous,’ ‘Demain,’ and ‘Sans Food.’
