Chaos and art collide in Humane The Moon’s New EP Debris Joice

East London indie artist Humane The Moon has released his highly anticipated second EP, Debris Joice, a bold project that continues to push the boundaries of his alternative sound.
Produced by: Humane The Moon
Led by standout singles ‘The Curb’ and ‘Humane Error,’ Debris Joice builds on the energy of Humane The Moon’s debut while expanding his artistic range. Recorded with the intention of breaking down old ideas and opening new doors, the EP offers a fusion of familiar angst and fresh pop-tinged elements, blending his signature grunge edge with upbeat rhythms. Tracks like ‘The Curb’ showcase this new direction, balancing gritty, introspective lyrics with a surprisingly optimistic beat.
Speaking about the inspiration behind Debris Joice, Humane The Moon reflects on its connection to his environment:
“At work in spring, you’d often see a daffodil or some blossom push its way up through the rubble of the building site. Because of where it is, the flowers holds a bit more weight when you look at it. Debris Joice has the same intention. Mythomania as a project was concise and to the point. And with these songs the idea is to tear down what it was and open some new doors, rejoicing in the debris of it.”
Additionally, the EP includes ‘Tear It Down,’ a previously released single that gained praise across indie circles, and the explosive collaboration ‘K9’ featuring Jeshi. Humane The Moon’s ability to blend alternative energy with moments of introspection and experimentation continues to shine, solidifying his status as an artist to watch.
With Debris Joice, Humane The Moon invites listeners to embrace the chaos and beauty of life, offering an EP that reflects both personal growth and artistic evolution. As he prepares for a series of live shows, including performances at London’s Moth Club and Paris’ Pitchfork Festival, the rising artist is set to bring his raw energy to the stage, further cementing his place in the indie scene.
Debris Joice is available now via Two First Names Recordings.
