Cristoph explores the depths of club culture on Life Through A Different Lens

Cristoph has released an ambitious debut album Life Through A Different Lens, now available on his label, Consequence of Society Recordings.
Produced by: Cristoph
Spanning 18 tracks, this ambitious project captures the essence of dusk-til-dawn clubbing through extended mixes that emulate an open-to-close DJ set. Designed to be experienced chronologically, the album flows seamlessly, with each track harmonizing in key while retaining its own distinct identity across house and techno landscapes. The opening track, ‘See Me Now’ (featuring Afnan Prince) and ‘A New Chapter’ (featuring MANNY) usher listeners in gently, before deeper, more intense cuts like ‘Surrender’ with Luke Coulson and ‘Fractual’ with ADZ take hold.
On Life Through A Different Lens, Cristoph makes full use of his label’s creative network, tapping artists like Jem Cooke (‘Paradise’), Harry Diamond (‘Raise The Alarm’), and Weska (‘Redwood’) for collaborations that showcase his versatility and clean-cut production style. Notably, ‘Cicada’ blends industrial tones with field recordings of the insect it’s named after, demonstrating his creative reach and willingness to experiment. The album closes with emotionally resonant tracks ‘Where Do We Go’ and ‘Looks Like I’m Waiting’ (with CultureKind and Afnan Prince), leaving listeners in a state of dark, reflective euphoria.
Life Through A Different Lens stands as a testament to Cristoph’s deep connection to the club and his skill in creating a world within music. The album is both a love letter to the dancefloor and a bold statement of intent.
