‘REDEEMED,’ cln’s latest release of 2021 is a chill-electro-pop track that was too good to let go of

cln has released his follow-up to a duo of excellent tracks released earlier this year, ’REVELRY’ & ‘IN VAIN.’

Callan Alexander, the man behind cln, has made good on his promise to release new music before year’s end. His latest track continues in his trademark chill-electronic, alt-pop style. Originally written for someone else to use, cln found that he just couldn’t part with his latest creation, ‘REDEEMED.’ The track closes out a successful year for the Brisbane chill alt-pop producer. cln describes how he’s been writing for other artists as of late, “Lately, I have been shifting a lot of my focus towards making music for other artists. I make a lot of music that doesn’t quite fit this project and I have a backlog of songs on my hard drives that I would prefer made it out into the world somehow. I have been sending out lots of beats and ideas and making music in genres that I wouldn’t usually venture into. It’s been a lot of fun and it’s gotten me out of my comfort zone which is always good.”

But this track was too good to let go. cln adds what he likes about the track, “… I liked the instrumental so much that I couldn’t part ways with it. I am a big fan of mixing orchestral layers like brass and organs with synthesizers and vocoders. I recorded the vocal tracks over the original demo in one night and that was pretty much it.”

We’re glad cln kept it 😉. ‘REDEEMED’ is available everywhere now.
